For all girls, not just the girlie girls! This page is for girls of all ages to explore and experience.
The Calendar Method is how most women track their cycle. On the first day of your period you will want to mark CR(CodeRED.) and continue to mark a CR for each day you have your period. This is will show you how long your period will typically last. This varies for each woman. Usually your period will last 3 to 5 days.
You will also want to track the symptoms of your period throughout the month. Examples of symptoms and ways to code them are below. You will have symptoms that start before your period. For example, you may start to feel irritable and notice your breast are getting bigger days before you actually start your period. These symptoms are called P.M.S (Pre-menstrual symptoms). You will also have other symptoms throughout the month, such as your vaginal discharge changing colors and texture.
The following month, you will repeat the following steps on the first day of your period. Then you will count the days that have passed since your last period. This will give you an idea of how often your period will come. Your period will usually come every 28 to 32 days. Once again, every body is different, so every one’s length of cycle and how often it comes, will vary.
I know, this seems like a lot of work, but it will help you understand your body better and what to expect each month. It is not as hard as it seems. Just give it a try…
